70 Photography Lessons edition by Eric Dahlin Arts Photography eBooks
I only found one truely usuful hint in the whole book. The rest are trite recitations of things that even a person new tophotography has already seen multiple times. His book on understanding exposure along with the companion workbook were worth the money. This one is not.

70 Photography Lessons edition by Eric Dahlin Arts Photography eBooks Reviews
It's nice to have a way to challenge yourself, and these lessons help you get out of the rut and keep moving in a direction that keeps you creatively astute.
Very simple with no real advice on what to do. A lot of "just take good photos and it will work out ok,"
I haven't read it yet. sometime when I get the time to spend using my camera and the time to read it I will write a more definitive review of what I thought of this books content.
The book is short, providing 70 very basic tips for beginners, some of which are common sense. The author describes this in his introduction so no one is surprised. And there are very few surprises. Comparable books are priced around, 99¢.
This is a good overall book for beginners getting started in photography, most advanced or professional photographers will already know most of these tips. A good area it brings up is using the manual settings to develop better advanced pictures and to not rely on the automatic settings or overdo special effects.
most of this stuff I learned in my photography minor but it was nice to get a refresher )
I strongly agree with the views on film photography and never leaving your camera at home.
also I love the statement he makes about even if it's just your phone camera it's all in how you use it!
This book has a lot of practical lessons for beginners. Anyone thinking about taking up photography should read it before they run out and buy expensive equipment. Well done!
I only found one truely usuful hint in the whole book. The rest are trite recitations of things that even a person new to
photography has already seen multiple times. His book on understanding exposure along with the companion workbook were worth the money. This one is not.
