Leo and Sophia. A perfect imperfect pair. One blue eye, one brown eye; but on opposite sides. Both had very rough pasts.As I started reading this book, I was overcome with exquisite sadness- almost overwhelming that he was just too good and she was just too bad.
Boy, did things shake up after she was kidnapped.
I felt dazed and upset about the entire mess.
But the Epilogue gave me the"HEA/ all is right with the world!!

Would I Read Future Books? ABSOLUTELY!
I purchased this book and voluntarily offered to review it. It was edgier than some of her other books. When I felt one was deceiving the other, I was uncomfortable and felt very critical. But I am glad I finished it as the entire spectrum shifted and the story became suspenseful and action packed. There is nothing like a good Mafia book!!
The characters were realistic and believable. They had their demons. They fought their pain.
It was well written but had many typos.
I continue to enjoy Ms Moore's fabulous imagination and characters.

Only the first 10% is actually the mafia story. The rest are either paranormal or novellas. All are really boring and poorly delivered. I try hard to find something good to say when leaving a review because writing is difficult and takes determination. These stories, however, fell horribly flat.
I love this story!!!
Made me wish my man was more like Leo, he is not. Such a great love story.
This was a great story. Gabi really knows how to write a great story line. I cannot wait to read more.
I love Gabi Moore's books. The darker the better and this book didn't disappoint! I couldn't put it down. Two broken people didn't find redemption they found how to heal their wounds. They filled up the pieces that they other was missing and creates something beautiful. I highly recommend this book 🤓
Sophia and Leo both have secret pasts that they're hiding. They're trying to live a happy life together but they aren't being who they really are and it's not really working. When Leo's past comes back to haunt him and Sophia is kidnapped the real Leo emerges. Can they face their pasts and deal with them? Can they accept each other for who they really are and heal each other? You'll have to read this book to find out. I voluntarily reviewed a gifted copy of this book by the author with no obligation. I have read several books by this author and I have found each of them magnetic in their own way. When I start each of her new books I am drawn in and I find I can’t put them down. Never Look Back wasn’t any different. The subject matter is dark and gritty but that is what makes it so real. Both leads are broken, with crippling pasts that they wish to overcome. Sophia has a dark past full of sex and drug addiction that she wants to remain in the past but just can’t seem to tame that desire. Leo has a past that includes violence, and mafia ties; ties he thought he severed a long time ago. Sophia and Leo are the perfect match, but things weren’t fairy-tales and rainbows. When their demons catch up with them and Sophia is kidnapped they are forced to face their problems head on. Can two broken souls come together and complete each other? Can they accept themselves and each other for who they are? Must read to find out.
The attraction and heat between both characters is hot and they really do make a good pair, once they start excepting themselves. The story-line was interesting and the character development was good. There was laughs, sex, danger, self-discovery, and intense emotions. I would recommend this book to other readers.
